Naturell was Champion Mare in Westfalia in 1998, and was awarded the Gold Medal so becoming a State Premium mare by right. She competed at the Bundeschampionate from 1998-2001, before being imported to England late in 2001. Here she competed with great success at FEI pony and medium level with scores of up to 77%, representing Great Britain a number of times. In 2004 she became the Midlands Medium Restricted Regional Champion, qualifying her for the National Championships where she placed 7th. Throughout her ridden career she demonstrated her amazing temperament and great rideability, being described by one highly respected trainer as "a mare in a million".

She has so far produced three colts and one filly foal, having had one year off. Her progeny are proving to be great ridden ponies, sensitive, intelligent and quick to learn. Her latest foal, her first and long awaited filly is a wonderful, near carbon copy of her mother.

Her sire Nantano has produced over 50 licensed sons and over 30 State Premium mares, including a number of bundeschampions. He himself was Bundeschampion in 1979 and competed at the Pony European Championships in showjumping. He has been in the top 10 in the FN yearbook (list of top ten rated german riding pony stallions) for over 10 consecutive years.

Her dam sire Durello was champion at the Oldenburger Championships, and was Westfalian Dressage Champion in 1988. He held first place in the German national top ten sire rating list for riding ponies from 1994 to 2005. He has produced over 41 State Premium mares and over 24 licensed stallions in Germany. In 2003, Durello's progeny won 14,535 Euros in prize money in total at German shows.

The cross between Nantano and Durello has been an extremely successful one over the last 2 decades in Germany, producing a number of Bundeschampionate finalists, licensed stallions, and state premium mares.

Naturell's mother, Donna Bell, competed at the Bundeschampionate three times and has produced many succesful sons and daughters, both in dressage and in jumping. She won several young mare classes against warmbloods She was placed in the mare show end ring as a three year old, and has so far produced 5 State Premium daughters and 3 Verband Premium daughters.Naturell was the mare show winnder in 1998 and two other daughters, Bella Donna and Bella Bavaria also won their rings and were finalists in the championship ring.
